Inside team-ingame – MORRAN Interview

Here we are with another ‘Inside team-ingame Interview’.

This time in the spotlight is our CS:GO female player MORRAN.

So without further ado, let’s get on with those all important questions:

Tell us a few words about yourself, for those who are not very familiar with your eSports career.

My name is Elin, i am 20 years old and im from Sweden. On my freetime i study at distance, but 90% of my awake time i just sit and play csgo. I love cookies and cakes and anything with chocolate :3

How did you get into competitive gaming?

I played csgo for about 1 1/2 year before i even started to think about playing it competitive. And then my boyfriend
who played in a team started to push me to try it out and then one day he convinced me to do a try-out for some girls and they wanted me,
and after that i just kind of couldn’t get enough, i loved playing in a team and it made me realize how much i wanted to get better and to succeed within gaming.

What kind of CSGO player are you? What’s your weapon of choice?
Im playing as a supportplayer, so im very supportive. I like to play both aggressive and defensive, depends much on the situation and my teammates. I love the AK.

What are your goals with Team~ingame Female?

My goal is of course to become a professional player with this line-up, but at first we need to make small goals, such as growing as a team and improving our skill together.

What 3 things can help a public player become better?

First at all I would say “practice, practice, practice”. Counter-Strike is not an easy game. You will not get good at it overnight. The only real way to get better is to play it, and play it a lot. Play deathmatch, play aim maps, play with people better than you and learn your smokes and flashes. Sure there are some other things you have to learn but I think for the start its okay. Just do everything step by step. I know if you play with and against people significantly better than you, you will lose badly, but you will learn quickly. Hopefully, you can use this advice to make your way into the world of Counter-Strike in a relatively smooth fashion.

What are your Top 3 games of all time?

I have never really played much games actually, i started off with League of Legends which i now dont like that much, and then i continued with csgo and i’ve loved it ever
since, i have tried out miscreated and H1Z1 but there is really no other game that has gotten stuck with me like cs has, so i only have 1 favorite.

What do you do to relax outside gaming?

I play a lot so my “relaxing hours” is still within the game, i like to listen to music while i play some kz, its like therapy for me.
But if i have to say something outside of the game, i like to just hang-out with my boyfriend

Let’s do some quick fire questions to finish it off.
Favourite gun and map – AK & Cache
Favourite streamer/caster? Probably the girls in the team, Hyuna and Dodo, but otherwise i like this swedish guy named yzn.
Commentary or presenting? n/a
Favourite fast food? Chicken nuggets
Your worst habit? I drink way to much energydrinks, like waaaay to much.
Your best quality? I would say i always try to be happy and kind towards people, and I laugh alot and i always try to make other people happy.
Ideal job? Being a professional csgo-player
your motto? n/a

Is there anything else you’d like to add? Finally, any shoutouts?

Last but not least, I want to thank my four amazing team mates who make playing CSGO so much more enjoyable for me.

A massive thanks for your time MORRAN.We wish you and the girls the best of luck! We are excited to see you back in action. We’ll be bringing more teammember interviews in the next few weeks!
